Everything your charity needs in one place

Trust Advice membership is built around the real challenges charities face. Here's what you get from the moment you join.

📞

Freephone Governance Helpline

Call 0800 and speak directly with a member of our team. No call centres, no queues, no extra charge. The most used and most loved benefit we offer.

📚

200+ Policy Library

Finance, HR, Governance and Operations — all the policies, templates and briefings your charity needs, written by experts and updated regularly.

🎓

Free Training Places

Free places on our regular webinars and, for Insight members, free places on our 1.5-hour training sessions throughout the year.

💰

One-stop Gift Aid

We process Gift Aid reclaims at excellent fixed rates compared to other national providers who usually use a percentage rate. For growing charities this change alone often covers the membership cost.

🔒

GDPR Tools

Data protection templates, checklists and guidance to keep your charity compliant with confidence.

👥

A Team That Understands

Many of our team have been or are trustees themselves. When you call, you're talking to people who know what it feels like.

Trust Advice office

We help charities grow & thrive, whether that's with a consultation call, strategy days,
or setting up from scratch, we'll support you through it all.

Governing a charity is harder than most people expect

Trustees take on real legal responsibilities, often with little training and no one to call when something difficult arises. The Charity Commission's expectations keep growing. Policies need writing. Regulations change. And the questions never stop.

Most charities manage. But managing isn't the same as thriving, and the difference is usually having the right support in place before you need it.

📋
Writing policies from scratchA well-governed charity needs dozens of up-to-date policies. Writing them takes time you don't have.
⚖️
Trustee conflicts and difficult situationsWhen something goes wrong in the boardroom, you need someone experienced to call, not a Google search.
📊
Charity Commission complianceReturns, serious incident reporting, regulatory changes. Staying on top of it is a job in itself.
🎓
Trustee training and developmentNew trustees need onboarding. Boards need refreshing. Good training is hard to find at an affordable price.

The day was stimulating and helpful. The information given alerted me to several issues, especially concerning interactions with the Charity Commission.

New Life Home Trust

It is very refreshing to receive such a good service in a world in which we all too often have to struggle to get answers. We will certainly enlist the help of Trust Advice again.

Whytecliffe Trust

It was one of the best conducted webinars that I have ever attended. Exemplary responses to what audience asked and wanted to know.

The Trust Advice team
The team

We're not just advisors. Many of us are, or have been, trustees too.

Trust Advice grew out of Independent Examiners, which Daryl Martin founded over 30 years ago. Today the organisation is led by his daughter and son-in-law, and the team brings together specialists in governance, finance, HR, training and strategy.

We're not just advisors. Many of us are, or have been, trustees too.

Guided by integrity, compassion and justice
Rooted in biblical values, serving with excellence
